LSTN “The Difference In Sound” officially launches today with their line of wooden constructed headphones meant to give you a richer acoustic sound. Direct from their site:
“Why are guitars, violins, drums, pianos, etc made out of wood, but headphones aren’t? Our unique wooden chambers are a huge contributor to the warm and natural sound of LSTN headphones they produce more resonance than plastic or metal. “
The wood is recycled wood and the color you get is it’s natural finish. The headphones come in Ebony, Beech or Cherry wood. The bowery earbuds come in at $50, the filmore full size headphone come in at $100 and the stylish troubadour comes in at $150. A pretty sleek little idea and design with the idea of giving it’s listeners a full rich sound. We’ll have more details on the sound quality once we get ourselves a pair.
Speaking of giving back, LSTN gives back proceeds from each purchase to Sound Seekers, an organization set out to give a chance for the deaf to hear again. I wouldn’t be anywhere near sane if I didn’t have music in my life. Give the gift of sound with Sound Seekers.
